The DogFather – A Pet Hostel

Why People Choose The Dogfather- A Pet Hostel: A Story of Grit, Love & Purpose

The Dogfather Hostel wasn’t built from plans – it was built from a promise.
A promise made silently by a man feeding one hungry street dog. That man was Anurag Dhillon, who began this journey four years ago with nothing but compassion in his heart and a packet of feed in his hand. What began with one dog quickly became two, then ten, and today, over 130 rescued dogs look at him as their only family.

I remember one day asking him, “Where does all the money come from to feed them?”
He smiled softly and said, “I do it on my own. I don’t expect anything in return.”
That answer stayed with me. I looked at him and said, “Let’s build something — something that supports this cause while offering love to other dogs too.”
And just like that, the dream of Dogfather Hostel was born.

We have Daler — our Beagle, our first child. He’s not just a pet, he’s family (face in the logo of The Dogfather Hostel). We knew one thing for sure: If we could give Daler a life full of comfort, play, and safety, we could give that to every pet left in our care.

But dreams aren’t easy.

We acquired a large piece of land, filled with potential but even more challenges.
The monsoons of 2025 hit hard. The site flooded. Construction stopped. Hope felt thin. But we kept moving — brick by brick.

And then came October 2025. The gates opened. The land was no longer a blueprint — it was a living, breathing sanctuary. With a swimming pool, sand play area, open playgrounds, private suites, and most importantly, a shelter for the voiceless, the dream had taken form.

Since then, pet parents choose us not just for what we offer, but for what we believe in.
Because here, boarding is not a service — it’s a responsibility.
Here, you don’t have to worry about how your child is doing without you. Because for us, every pet is a Daler.

And we truly believe — God has chosen us for these pure souls. We are just the hands. The love is all theirs.
